English 101
Some of the concepts I learned in English 101 consisted of Sentence Level Corrections, and how to use better grammar in most cases.
Some of the papers I wrote in English 101 were Argument papers, sketches about stories I have read, and stories about family.
In English 101, we worked constantly on how our grammar comes across through words to reach the reader. The more correct and direct our grammar is, the more we pull the reader into the story.
Personal
I usually do not like to write in my free time. Some of the things i like to do in my free time consist of: basketball, video games, hang out with friends, surf the internet.
I have not come to like reading in my past, but if required to i do finish the reading that is assigned to me.
My favorite subject I like to study is math, My least favorite, sad to say, is English.
Some of the things i hope to experience in the class is to feel comfortable writing 1000+ word page papers without running out of things to talk about.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry English isn't your favorite subject but I still hope you enjoy this class. We'll be working with grammar because it is important to the writing process, but we're going to be moving away and working with overall concepts and critical thinking as well.
The best strategy I can give you to finding a way to write 1000+ word papers is to write about what interests you. If you like a story or a topic we discuss, write about that. You'll thank yourself later.
